The San Diego Delta Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Leadership Development Intern Program—open to young women entering the 10th grade who are ready to lead, serve, and grow.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply

The program welcomes motivated young women ready to invest in their growth as leaders. To apply, you should:

Be entering the 10th grade

Applicants must be entering the 10th grade for the 2026–2027 school year.

Maintain strong academics

Hold a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and a 3.0 citizenship GPA.

Complete the application

Submit a full application, including all required recommendation forms.

Show a heart for leadership

Demonstrate genuine interest in leadership, scholarship, and community service.

Complete the Application

Download the LDIP application form and fill it out completely.

Gather Recommendations

Include three completed recommendation forms with your application.

Submit the Participation Fee

The $300 fee is payable via Zelle to sddeltafoundationinc — please include the applicant’s name in the memo.

Send It In

Email your completed application to deltafoundationinc@gmail.com, and keep a copy for your records.

The Commitment

What to Expect

Accepted interns commit to an active season of leadership, learning, and service.

  • Attend meetings every second Saturday
  • Attend seminars every fourth Saturday
  • Participate from September 2026 through March 2027
  • Submit the $300 participation fee by August 1, 2026
  • Please note: the participation fee is non-refundable after September 1, 2026.
